I have a personal mantra that I live my life by Wisdom over Intellect. And feel one of the best and certainly the most enjoyable way to gain wisdom is through life experience, and what better life experience than travelling to unfamiliar and exciting places. Likewise I also feel that every person you shall ever meet has the potential to become a teacher to you. So the more people you meet, both nice and unpleasant, the better. For it is often your ‘enemies’ you can learn the most from.
Likewise it is only through travel and experience you can learn what it is you really want to do.
Whenever you feel lost, confused, conflicted, often the best remedy is to take a long, slow walk. This allows you to relax, experience the world around you and sooth your turbulent mind. This is just a small example of the immeasurable power of travelling. It can alter your entire life perspective, or let you know that your perspective is the right one for you. It reveals you to yourself through others, your experiences and adventures. Also the solitude you will no doubt experience lets you get back in touch with your heart and helps you to reconnect with your inner world.
